Finance is the art and science of managing funds. This course provides an understanding of the financial system, basic financial management techniques, and analyses as applied to the arts, entertainment, and media business environment. Concepts studied include cash flow, ratio analyses, time value of money methodology, capital budgeting, and business ethics. The course introduces students to essential financial management tools used by decision-makers.This course is supported by Supplemental Instruction Peer Study Groups.
