31-3325J Violence in Contemporary Theatre This course explores the heightened physical and vocal work that is associated with modern drama, especially that of power and manipulation. The class will use shared weight techniques and physical talking and listening to help understand the needs of the character in a given moment in seemingly random, non-technique forms of violence incorporated into scene work.
1 Credits PREREQUISITES: 31-2315 Stage Combat I and 31-2200 Scenes: Performance & Analysis Requirements Not New Freshman and Not New Transfer Stu.
