36-2310 Prototyping Strategies This course is about the interactive media production process. Students gain a deeper understanding of techniques and practices by sketching, thumbnailing, storyboarding, and making physical mockups for digital projects. The iterative production cycle is practiced by rapid prototyping in a collaborative environment, and is informed by research and testing. This class develops a student’s ability to communicate quickly visually before committing to code and design, and to create participant-centered works based on usability-testing results.
