BUSE 221 Managing Human Resources Course teaches students to identify principal human resource management functions within an organization. Course utilizes interpersonal communication, role-playing, and hands-on exercises to teach typical human resource management skills applicable to the arts, entertainment, media, and retail fields. Students practice interviewing techniques; creating compensation packages; developing, training, and disciplining employees; and developing performance appraisals.
