22-1972 Foundation Skill: Space Design

Students will practice applying elements such as planes, materials, texture and color to define spaces and spatial relationships. Students will compose space through two-? and three-?dimensional means into spatial compositions considering patterns of movement, circulation, approach, entry, orientation, external connections and threshold. Through sketching and basic modeling students will conceptualize and modify three-?dimensional spaces.
