Social Media and Digital Strategy, BA

The Social Media and Digital Strategy program responds to growing demand in the arts, media, entertainment, fashion, start-up and nonprofit worlds for graduates who can be digital storytellers and create content for multiple social media platforms. Students conduct digital research; explore consumer motivations; manage analytics; develop content strategies; engage audiences; and create multimedia journalistic, public relations, advertising and marketing materials in case-study and applied-practicum courses. The program draws from three departments–Business and Entrepreneurship, Communication, and Interactive Arts and Media–as well as expertise and resources across the college. There are internship opportunities available in this field, providing students with real-world experience.
