ARTS 671 Paper This course will qualify graduate students in the basic techniques, materials, processes, and concepts used in the Papermaking Studio. Techniques will be taught as a method of investigation, a material exploration of ideas. Projects will focus on papermaking as a skill for carrying other information (such as printmaking) as well as a self-contained form of expression, through color, texture, images, etc.
