THEA 610 Constructing Contemporary Performance I This course traces the historical emergence of the building blocks of contemporary performance practice (space, time, memory, embodied presence), through avant-garde practices in theatre, dance, music and film, informed by activist trends in the social and political landscapes. Students will engage in practice-based research leading to performance.
