COMM 555 Data Activism and Impact Communication This course provides students with an overview of the ways advocates can use and apply quantitative data to systematically analyze and create social actions. Students will learn to access, analyze, and evaluate pre-existing and collected data. By observing current civic movements and identifying needs, students will be able to design and conduct a quantitative study that addresses a social issue. By the end of the semester, students will engage in digital storytelling of their applied research to drive a social change.
