DANC 275 The Arts in Therapy: An Introduction This course introduces students to various theories of creativity as well as theories and applications specific to the creative arts therapies field, inclusive of art, dance/movement, drama, music, and poetry, in addition to the multi-modal expressive arts therapy field. Performance will also be explored as a means of engaging in a reflective dialogue between the process and the product, as well as the performer and the witness. Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on the creative process and the students’ experience with it.
