LITR 103 Introduction to Literary Interpretation Course introduces students to key terms, concepts, and techniques of literary interpretation, with attention to questions of genre, period, and critical perspective. Students analyze selections of poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and/or drama representing a range of historical periods and cultural traditions, and they learn to compose evidence-based interpretive arguments. Designed for students in English and Creative Writing.
