THEA 123B Basics of Comedy: Creating Comic Characters

“Basics of Comedy” provides active experience in a specific topic within the realm of comedy writing or performance. In Creating Comic Characters, non-majors and majors will learn to create a “full body mask.” Students will return to a state of play and pretend, using themselves, family members, celebrities, and more as starting points to build out new characters.
