COLL 101 ENGAGE 101: Columbia’s Extended Orientation

This first-semester, zero credit, class is designed to support students as they navigate Columbia College Chicago’s campus resources, degree requirements, and expectations for student success. The class will connect students with campus resources, student leaders, and facilities to assist with their first-year experience and transition into the Columbia community. Each week, discussions and workshops will focus on the Columbia Engage themes including: Community, Leadership, Diversity, Career, Academics, Financial Literacy, Health, Wellness, and Safety. Students will have additional opportunities to engage in cultural events, Chicago field trips, and campus leadership opportunities.
