This course requires the musical theatre student to apply their knowledge of basic acting scene structure and musicality to material from the musical theatre repertoire. This culminates in performing one duet or trio before 1960 and one after 1960 from the musical theatre repertoire with an eye towards introducing the synthesis of song, vocal technique, text, objectives and tactics to further the dramatic life of the material.
