This course introduces the ways digital media can be used within making dance and as choreographic tools and mediums. It will prepare students with the basic skills needed to design dance for the camera and take the physical, three-dimensional movement created in the studio into the two-dimensional realm of the screen. Students will understand how their editing choices can affect overall compositional structure through videography and non-linear digital video editing.
