JOUR 205 News Reporting

The course helps students refine their reporting, interviewing, researching and writing skills as they conceptualize, pitch and produce journalistic stories. Students further develop critical-thinking skills as well as the use of social media for newsgathering and storytelling. It emphasizes precision and clarity. Equipment is required for this course.
