CINE 310 Cinema Models and Miniatures Course emphasizes the design and technical ability needed to create miniatures and models for cinema. Film examples will be analyzed for scale, medium, and style. Students will be introduced to physical modeling and sculpting techniques, media, scale, and architectural terms and concepts. Beginning from sketches and draftings, students will design and build miniature objects, environments, and characters utilizing a variety of materials.
