Students investigate the elements and principles of the artistic process that can be applied to all aspects of creating musical theatre. The course develops students’ awareness, observation and collaborative skills, and their ability to transpose experiences in the world of the play or musical into written, vocal and physical form. Production numbers that explore style and representative genres will be major projects.
