COMM 567 Civic Tech and Policy

This course will introduce basic concepts in civic technology with a focus on how civic technology products are designed and implemented, and how they affect the ways governments interact and serve residents. Students will also explore how media can be deployed to foster civic engagement, highlight critical issues of government services, and create a sense of community within cities.
