THEA 534 Equity & Inclusion in Collaborative Practice: Representation and Access This course explores the key issues of access, gender identity & expression, and representation in creative and collaborative practice.
This course will provide students with the tools needed to navigate conversations of equity and access in their creative practice. Students will engage with strategies and principles that promote equitable access and diverse representation. Students will also examine structural and systemic factors contributing to inequities, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and addressing disparities.
These conversations are crucial in highly collaborative creative fields, where diversity of thought and experience is a catalyst for innovation.
