CINE 366 Computer-Aided Set Design for Cinema This course is designed to give production design students a solid basis in 3D modeling techniques for set construction and focuses on modeling in CAD software such as Trimble Sketchup. It will cover modeling, texturing, camera placement and modification, render styles, and exporting views for drafting and for photo manipulation in editing software. We will collaborate with Production Designers from an advanced production to create working set designs from their concept art for use in construction of their sets.
