CINE 301 BFA Intermediate Production This is a BFA intermediate production course in Cinema and Television using applied theories and techniques of producing, directing, cinematography, sound, production design, editing and postproduction of a short production project.
This course brings students together to pitch and collaboratively create short production projects in a group throughout the semester. In this course, students will hone various filmmaking skills they have previously studied (shooting, sound recording, editing, etc.) while also being reintroduced to areas they may not have actively participated in since their first-year courses. The goal is for students to emerge at the end of the semester with a deep understanding of how to work as a collaborate production group with each member performing an assigned role in producing, directing, cinematography, sound, production design, editing or postproduction.
