This course surveys the media industry both traditional, legacy media sectors that include print/news, radio, television, film, along with current and emerging digital sectors and applications such as social, streaming, the metaverse, and artificial intelligence (AI). You’ll explore how changes in technology drive innovation, transforming the production, distribution, marketing, and consumption of content in a digital world while better understanding your role within the media ecosystem.
