CRWR 101 Explorations in Creative Writing This innovative course in creative writing, centered on a universal human experience, fits in Rubric II within the LAS Core Curriculum: Culture, Values, and Ethics. By reading a wide range of poems, stories and essays, and by reading a small number of films and pieces of music and work in other art forms, students will become familiar with a wide range of human behavior and cultural responses in relation to the thematic topic as expressed in literature and other art. Topics may include Death and Dying, Art and Violence, and Love and Lust.
