56-2312 Geology of the Solar System Course examines the geology and geologic history of the planets, moons, asteroids, and other bodies that inhabit the solar system. The study of other objects in space is based upon an understanding of Earth and comparison of other planets to Earth and to each other. Course features frequent hands-on activities to understand basic planetary processes and extensive use of Internet resources to access new data and interpretations from planetary exploration.
