22-1131 History of Architecture I This course uses the study of architecture to reveal human thought and aspirations and begins by examining ancient Egyptian architecture continuing through the Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, and Neoclassical periods. Focus is on Western architectural forms. Through the context of examining architecture, instruction touches on interiors, decorative arts, and furniture.
