22-3460 Digital Illustration This course helps students begin to master digital painting, drawing, and image processing techniques to extend and augment their skills and techniques with traditional media and methods. Students work with the latest painting and drawing software that digitally mimics traditional tools such as watercolor, oil paint, airbrush, and charcoal. Students also explore methods such as brush effects, compositing, masking, and collage as a resource for initiating, developing, and refining illustration concepts.
3 Credits Requisites PREREQUISITES: 22-1310 Beginning Typography and 22-1320 Design Lab and 22-2400 Illustration History & Practice and 22-2415 Illustration Studio
