28-1610 Business of Media This course surveys the business of traditional media fields including radio, television and film, while also studying emerging digital media industries, including the Web and mobile platforms. This course also examines how changes in technology, consumer behavior, and deregulation are transforming the media industry and the production, distribution, and consumption of content in a digital environment. This course is an entry point for other media management classes, a requirement for students pursuing a media management concentration, and is also open to non-Business and Entrepreneurship majors.
