                | 40-2301 Television Arts: Directing Course builds on the production skills covered in Television Arts: Production and introduces the basic techniques of television directing.  The course will focus on both multi-camera and single-camera directing techniques.  Students will learn how to visualize and plan for a live, real-time scene, how to break down scenes for shooting out-of-order with a single camera, live switching techniques, storyboarding and visualization, camera and talent blocking, and working with actors.  Students who complete this class will have experience in a variety of shooting styles found in television today.
