40-2621 On-Camera Talent Course teaches the student the role of being on camera talent in a variety of different production situations. The varied roles of a live reporter, in a hard news deadline situation, the anchor’s roles on the news set, the host talent’s responsibility and interactions in the entertainment genres of talk, game, and magazine shows. The art of the interview, the how-to of writing scripts, researching guest, and formulating questions will also be included. The culmination of this class will be to conduct on camera interviews in Live, Pre-Taped, and location situations.
