41-1107 Voice and Articulation I Course helps students acquire pronunciation and grammar of oral Standard English that is necessary for broadcasting and oral communication in any professional environment. Students receive an individual evaluation of articulation and voice. Course stresses the concept of becoming bi-dialectic, or learning and using Standard English in addition to your primary dialect. Classroom exercises focus on using Standard English when reading copy and engaging in improvisational conversation.
