41-2321 Internet Radio

Students will create and operate various implementations of Internet radio in live, live assist and fully automated modes. Each student will develop audio media for the Internet with a website that includes audio streams, embedded audio and social media. Students will create or curate their own content, including music, spoken word or audio art. Music licensing, copyright and other issues related to content will be explored. Taught in a classroom laboratory, each student will have an individual audio workstation.
