43-3315 Environmental Acoustics Course aims at providing a comprehensive understanding of issues pertaining to noise pollution and noise control in a wide range of environments such as urban, industrial, airport, entertainment venues, and so forth. Comprehensive course equally covers both theory and practice with field measurements performed by students and teacher. Data are used to reinforce theoretical models. Course emphasizes noise studies in the workplace and reviews current regulatory issues pertaining to noise pollution.
