This course investigates human movement in air and water using sports, performing arts, and animation as examples. We explore the physiology of the body’s interaction with its environment and integrate biology and physics to describe, define, and understand movement. The hands-on laboratory explores visualization and quantification of movement and includes a final project incorporating each student’s interests, majors, and cultural backgrounds with course material.
