70-6410 Research Methods This course is the first in a four-course series designed to prepare the student as a researcher and consumer of research in the fields of counseling and creative arts therapies. The course will provide a basic overview of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies followed by an exploration of research methods in ethical and legal contexts appropriate to counseling and creative arts therapies. The series of research courses, beginning with Research Methods, and continuing with Literature Review Seminar, Thesis Seminar and Graduate Thesis will culminate in the completion of a Master’s Thesis and a presentation of a research poster at the Research Celebration.
