23-3230 Advanced Retouching and Compositing This course introduces students to advanced retouching and compositing techniques and skills used by professionals in many aspects of current photographic practice. Advanced computer tools, theories of image construction and enhancement, and the moral and ethical implications surrounding image manipulation will be addressed in this advanced level class. Students will work on provided image files for weekly assignments that are assessed by review and classroom critique. Students will apply these skills to individual, high-quality final projects.
3 Credits Requisites PREREQUISITES: 23-3202 Digital Imaging II and 23-2310 Advanced Lighting
