23-1116 Color Photography This print-based course will offer an introduction to analog color materials, the color darkroom and the aesthetics, technique and theory of color photography. It will review basic camera usage, exposure and metering, and formal strategies for making color photographs. Through a sequence of assignments and a final project this course will reinforce the importance of light as color from vision to print; including negative exposure, darkroom printing, and the way content is shaped by color and light in the final photographic print.
