56-3125HN Modeling Biological Systems with Differential Equations: Honors In mathematics, differential equations express the relationship between several quantities and their rates of change. When used in application, these equations can function as mathematical models of complex dynamic systems, such as those found naturally in biology. In this course, we will explore a variety of systems using models based on differential equations, and learn how to use mathematical tools, including calculus, to analyze these systems.This course is part of the Honors program and requires, at a minimum, a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher to register (in addition to other possible pre-requisites).
