27-2606 Apparel Studio II

Using designs developed in Fashion Design Studio II (27-2710), students will further explore the two- and three-dimensional patternmaking approach to garment design. Using slopers/blocks and draping principles, students will realize original design concepts. Through critiqued design development on the dress form, students learn the principles of proportion, silhouette, line and style, while exploring current market trends. Projects are evaluated on professional models for fit and style.
