22-3190 Senior Seminar in Art History This is the first semester of the two-part Art History capstone sequence. This course examines the disciplinary foundations, historiography, and major issues of art history and explores the various methodological approaches used in the field. Students will focus on developing their skills in critical reading and academic writing. In addition, students will be exposed to the conventions and professional practices of art history, will work on elements of their professional portfolio, and will learn about careers related to art history.
