24-1300 Acting and Directing Workshop Course is designed to introduce fundamentals of the actor’s craft to directing students. Students learn various acting techniques and apply them to basic directing methods. The relationship between actor, text, and director is emphasized through analysis, rehearsal, and scene work. Intended outcome is an understanding of the actor’s process and the collaboration and communication necessary between actors and directors.
