21-2735 Technical Illustration This course introduces students to a variety of technical strategies for developing, refining, and presenting concepts in a variety of contexts: from still images to storyboards, and animations. Students will work on a set of common projects as well as projects specific to their disciplines. Central to this course is an understanding of color and light, information-rich graphics, and sequential storytelling. Industry standard software will be used throughout the course.
3 Credits PREREQUISITES: 22-1701 Product Design: Drawing I or 22-1920 Making 2 or 22-1925 Making for Transfers or 22-1210 Drawing for Non-Majors
