The Entrepreneurship and Innovation BA equips students with the knowledge, skills, and mindset to create, innovate, and lead in startup and established creative organizations. The program explores the innovation process, design thinking, and idea generation while completing foundation courses in business and entrepreneurship focused on the creative industries, including financial, legal, marketing, and leadership. Students leverage these business and innovation skills to test new ventures as viable opportunities for launch.
Upon successful completion of the program requirements, students should be able to:
- demonstrate innovation abilities;
- identify legal and ethical issues in entrepreneurship;
- analyze financial statements and projections to make sound business decisions;
- implement effective marketing and sales strategies;
- infuse principles of deiversity, equity and inclusion in all business decisions; and
- demonstrate effective problem solving and decision making skills.
