Creative Industries Management Minor


A minor in Creative Industries Management provides students with the mangement skills and competitive advantage needed to support careers in the creative sectors. The practical knowledge and skills gained are applicable to students of all artistic disciplines and are essential for self-managers, entrepreneurs, and arts and media professionals.

Upon successful completion of this program, students should be able to:

apply fundamental business, leadership, marketing, and entrepreneurial knowledge and skills in the operation of creative organizations and endeavors;

employ critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills that address and anticipate trends in the creative industries;

analyze trends, opportunities, and challenges in creative and cultural sectors within in a global and technological environment, and;

incorporate principles of diversity, equity and inclusion in the business practices of the arts, entertainment, and media.
