32-3671 Music Pedagogy This course provides an overview of modern pedagogical theories, an exploration of educational resources, and a series of hands-on experiences in planning and implementing music instruction. Through reading, in-class discussion, individual research, and practical teaching exercises, students will be exposed to the foundations of music education. Students will develop the tools to successfully construct lesson plans, deliver individual and group-based music instruction, evaluate method books and repertoire, use technology in the classroom, and assess student progress.
