52-3795 Seminar in Literary Interpretation


This rotating topics course provides students with opportunities for advanced literary analysis in a seminar format, building on the skills in reading, interpretation, research, and argumentation addressed in Introduction to Literary Interpretation. Students give focused attention to a selected set of authors, texts, critical perspectives, and / or debates in literary studies and write sustained interpretive arguments based on research and textual analysis. Course is open to students in Creative Writing and is repeatable as topic changes.
