BUSE 201 Accounting This course is a thorough overview of financial accounting topics for arts, entertainment and media organizations, starting with the accounting cycle for a sole proprietorship and ending with the study of corporations. Clear principles and procedures are used to demonstrate the function of the accounting cycle. The Income Statement, Statement of Equity, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flow are prepared. The class presents topics that will enhance the student’s understanding of the financial statements, including an introduction to ratio analysis.
