LITR 260 Dramatic Literature Series of courses focuses on figures, periods, or movements in dramatic literature. Content includes modern American drama, which surveys twentieth-century American playwrights such as O’Neill, Odets, Heilman, Williams, Miller, Inge, and Hansberry, and experimental drama, which explores the development of experimental theater through figures such as Jarry, Beckett, Stein, Ionesco, Shepard, and Shange. Course is repeatable as topic changes.
