PHYS 210 Image Optics Human vision, photography and cinematography are best understood through optics, the scientific study of the nature of light and its interaction with matter. The properties of light such as reflection, refraction, the formation of real and virtual images, the structure of the eye and the types and uses of lenses are some of the topics covered. The course includes hands on experiments and demonstrations that use state of the art equipment. Previous knowledge of physics is not required.
