MATH 115 Liberal Arts Mathematics In this course, students will explore some of the different ways of knowing used in mathematics, with an emphasis on logical reasoning. Course topics, such as Venn diagrams, counting techniques, logical truth and deduction, and probability, will give students opportunities to build on their problem-solving skills to better appreciate the logical reasoning underlying mathematics. Students interested in variety and a change of pace from the typical math topics may find this class appealing.
